I have to say first thing, I am not advocating laxatives for weight loss. Having said that I have been using laxatives  for quite a number of years, and I have never found any adverse results health wise. In fact the only results I really found was loss of weight, which in my view was the whole point of the exercise. I have no idea if this would work with everybody, but it certainly did in my case, I must admit that never went over the top I never used really strong laxatives. Actually the mild one’s work well enough.

I really can’t see why so many people especially the medical profession are so against using laxatives for weight loss, my own view is it my body I can do what I want. If I feel okay and I’m not doing any damage to myself where’s the harm its not as if taking drugs or something. I don’t see it any worse really than using colon cleansers, you find these colon cleansers advertised all over the Internet and are even doctors and clinics performing colon cleansing. So really using laxatives for weight loss is no worse than using a colon cleanse.

I don’t use it all the time normally three or four days, and then I take two days off. You can actually use natural laxatives for weight loss, a really great one for me is prunes, it helps that I really like them and also they really make go to the toilet. I suppose eating a large amount of that particular food is really the same as using a laxative for weight loss, not much difference really whether I consume kilo of prunes, to laxatives. In the end they both have the same result.

I tend to find that I don’t have that bloated feeling, I feel much better after going to the toilet, knowing it’s helping you lose weight makes it even better. My own opinion is as long as I don’t use very strong laxatives that cramp my stomach and keep me on the toilet all day long, then I’m okay. It’s really just another way of controlling your weight getting rid of excess calories and of course having a good clean out. If you’re going to use laxatives for weight loss then just be careful, keep an eye on your body and its normal functions if you see any changes stop immediately. Don’t get carried away don’t use very strong laxatives, it’s not safe and it’s certainly not wise to do that. Taking laxatives for weight loss has been a part of my diet for quite some time, I’m sure those people reading this who are going to disagree with what I’m saying, it’s up to you you don’t have to do it if you don’t want to.
